About Us
History
The Edmonds Lane Bible Chapel (ELBC) began in 1994 in a modest setting, gathering together in a hotel conference room located in Lewisville, Texas.
In 1996, after much prayer and seeking the Lord's guidance, the assembly took a significant step forward by purchasing a property on Edmonds Lane, and by December of 1998, the congregation had a new home where they could continue to gather in the name of the Lord.
Throughout its history, the assembly has been actively involved in spreading the Gospel in various ways.
The members have engaged in outreach efforts at different locations, sharing the Good News with those who might not otherwise hear it. The assembly has also held Vacation Bible School (VBS) annually, which have been instrumental in reaching out to children and families in the community, planting seeds of faith in young hearts.
Moreover, the assembly has a long-standing tradition of participating in short-term mission trips. Over the years, many members, including the youth, have traveled to various parts of the world to spread the Gospel and support local ministries. These mission trips have not only impacted the lives of those who were reached but have also profoundly shaped the spiritual growth of the participants, giving them a broader perspective on the global body of Christ.
ELBC has remained steadfast in its mission to glorify God, edify believers, and reach the lost with the life-changing message of the Gospel.
We are an independent gathering of believer families dedicated to glorifying God, edifying believers, and reaching the lost with the transformative message of the Gospel, all the while adhering to the foundational principles of the Plymouth Brethren.
ELBC is registered as a non-profit corporation, consistently upholding its commitment to transparency and accountability in financial operations.
